Well, This is a wonderful news.
Being a Disgruntal Catholic, and a biology major, I really hate "Intelligent Design". Yes, there is some holes in the theory of evolution, but is there evidence to back it up. ID is nothing but creationism wraped up in Pseudo-science package.
God, I really want to rant more about the stupidy of ID, but I just got back from work, and I have a morning class, so my rant will have to wait.

I love 'intelligent design' as anyone who believes it has convienently labeled themselves as a waste of humanity and I know I can ignore them. 'Oh it's different from creationism rly' so God didn't necesarily do it...just someone with the skillset and knowhow to to make a working universe? Wow, that's a long list, I can name like 15 people just off the top of my head who could make a working universe.

Screw what the bible says about creation or evolution.
If there is any truth to creationism, Woman was made before Man. The gender that could reproduce was obviously made first.
Also, God is female. She created life. Besides, the first human was made in her image. If Man was made first, then God has nipples that do nothing. No part of God can be meaningless, thus Woman is again proven to have come first.
As long as the Vatican puts stock in the words of the bible, regardless of specific interpretation, they have no credibility in my eyes.

I've always considered Intellegent Design to be more like... Karma, but in a more cosmic scale. Cause (star supernovas) effect (possible new galaxy).. and then seeing these reactions and infering patterns and what not, to help understand how the universe was created and where its going.
Appearently the textbook definition is different than what I thought it was.
..now I realized I just confused that with Cosmology.
