Okay, will some of you stop being arses about handing out the damn prototype and hand it to someone who's prepared to actually do something with the god damn prototype. I would have expected someone to bother to release the damn thing now the game has been out for god damn ages.
Reviewing old topics, Nemisis has or had the Sonic Heroes prototype at one stage when he hacked the modles inside it. I've tried investigating into getting the prototype myself a couple of times, but all the people I've spoken to either refuse to help or have no one which will help me.
So I'm asking those who have the prototype to think about the Sonic Community on a whole when releasing this, there is only really gain from releasing it.

If people are clueless about this prototype; I'm unsure when the prototype did become talk amoung people but it was about the same time a Sonic Community member Solly got a hold of the Sonic Heroes E3 demo for X-box. Soon after Solly released some pictures of the game from the so labled 'alpha' version of the game on X-box. Apparently the game had been given to a few of Solly's friends but told not to give it to anyone else.
Artie of team artail had got ahold of the Sonic Heroes music from the game, which was later given out to the sonic community by Artie getting in touch with SCARZ in which Grap3 had then uploaded, they were taken down REALLY quickly due to everyone downloading it all at once. =P Unfortunatly, Artie only aquired the music because that was all he was interested in... Unfortunatly, some time after CulT had posted the Sonic Heroes E3 demo which Solly had, which I'm lead to believe someone hacked into Solly's computer to get the data... As a result Solly threw a huge hissy-fit and deleted the prototype from her computer, or so she said... I'd go by that she hasn't got it any more...
And so ends the tale really, I havn't heard ANYTHING about the prototype around the community since that. I mean, even if you did think the game sucked, it's worth looking into, it IS a prototype after all... =/

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help.

Okay I'm not 100% sure if this is what you're looking for, but go to http://www.soniconthe.net/ and register. After registering & Login in use Search & type something like "heroes", you'll get "Sonic Heroes (E3 Xbox demo)"

Here's a bit of the description from the tor

File name [XBOX] Sonic Heroes (E3 Demo).torrent
Downloads as [XBOX] Sonic Heroes (E3 Demo).rar

Description The preview version of Sonic Heroes as shown on E3. For the Xbox.

Size 70.23 MB (73,644,220 bytes)

you're welcome ^^

That's not the one he is looking for.

He is looking for the one that you can play all the way through. It was almost the final. A couple people had it, but promised Solly not to release it, to avoid legal complications.

Now that the game has been out for a while now, I don't see the harm in them releasing it.

This prototype just doesn't exist anymore. Solly and her friends went throught to much hassle with Sega because of this "greedy" hacker. She would have released it, otherwise.

End of story.

She shouldn't have thrown a hissy fit and deleted it. It's not like Sega came to her house and ordered her to stop.

There *ARE* other ways to prevent hackers from stealing your data than deleting it. CD/DVD-Rs anyone?

Maybe we could ask her who she gave it to, or if they don't frequent the internet, if she could get it off of them. It's not like asking is going to do any harm.

Yeah, but it's been like two years since the incident, hasn't it? Maybe one and a half, I don't remember. =P

I still do have some proto music, I think. In ADX format to boot.. At least, I should. Noooooo... It's the same in the final, I think, we were just getting it before the game released. Yeah, okay.

That kind of depends on the method of hacking used. If say the hackers gained access due to Solly being dumb enough to share all of her data via SMB, you can't run apps remotely on that. That sounds like the most likely scenario to me, but meh.

EDIT: Or were you suggesting that she could undelete it now? In that case, what grap3 said.

I doubt it's one and a half years because it's pretty slim this would have happened after Heroes was released ;P

If she didn't use the HD too much is quite possible.

Just because Solly deleted it doesn't mean the other people she gave it to deleted it, and there is also the possibility that the proto is on her X-Box's Harddrive.

Uhm... No it wasn't. The music changed quite a bit for some levels in the proto ADXs Artie gave us. The final music did appear one day though.

EDIT: Thanks Cyber. =P

Seeing how she seeded an entire 26 episodes of the French Sonic X, I somehow doubt it.

That and she could have defragged her machine sometime. Or even used a secure erase program.

Um, SSUK, you're missing like 2 end quote tags. Or more realistically, you have 2 quote tags that shouldn't be there. Remove mine and Super Freak's =P

EDIT: There, now you're quoting me for something grap3 said =P

I'm guessing if there's somebody who still has it, he/she will be of the "anti-cult" type so this might be the wrong forum to ask for it.

And what SSUK said.

If that's true, they will be forever in many Sonic fans' "Hall of Shame"... =\

Not my case since I didn't like Sonic Heroes in the fist place, but it would have been kinda nice to check out some differences.

That just sounds unbelievable. SoE getting off of their fat-asses in where, Belgium? They'd use mail first.

She must have had a 'copy' at at least one point in time, otherwise this whole theory on deletion is false. omg plothole time

And why did she, a random French person get an 'official' prototype? That sounds as likely as the 2 prototypes SSUK supposedly had ;P

I really doubt the CulT would want to stop trying just because YOU tell us to.

No, no... She said her self at one point she was given the prototype by someone who WORKED at SEGA, they just don't hand out prototypes to random people. the reason the thing was deleted was because she was angry at Pachuka and Ryoga I think it was for hacking into her computer and leaching out the Sonic Heroes E3 demo, through a security hole in her firewall. Whatever this buisness is about SEGA telling her to get rid of it is bullshit.

P.S. Just to show the proto music was around here's two clips (1:00 long) showing the PROTOTYPE music first then the FINAL music to compare it to afterwards:
Ocean Palace clips
Metropolis clips

People had a prototype and they let it slip away? People won't give up that easily...

Also, I believe Solly's mother is press and that she was given the disc to preview it. Although I heard this two and a half (where has the time gone) years ago and I wasn't sure how reliable that was then and I'm not too sure now either.
