Can someone identify what Sonic game style this sprite is from:

http://rattleman.digibase.ca/sonic/schannel2.JPG

I guess after that it can be put into whatever section it matches.

Auch, there was a whole topic on this before the board was restored. =P It was a custom sprite created for the SEGA Channel thing, drawn to look like the Sonic 2 skidding sprite but clearly a redrawn version rather than an exact copy or an edit.

ICEknight had a rip of the actual sprite, if I recall correctly, which proved that to be the case. I dunno, ask him about it, or whoever it was who posted it. I'm pretty sure it was ICEknight. =/

Yeah, I started that topic originally. I dont think ICE ripped it though because that version of Sega Channel was never dumped. There were two, one with a red motiff that's all over the web, and one with a blue motiff that MoD had trouble dumping. Something about SMD not being able to recognize it.

So yeah Sanik/Saz until someone can dump the cart and/or rip the sprite, I guess the scan Rattle provided can go in the Sonic 2 section.

Unless SEGA Channel gets its own section.

Zip it and try to keep it small.
I find it idiotic to scan high quality pics of magazines. If a picture is 100x100 pixels and is printed, what makes you think it can get any more quality if you scan it with high quality settings?

BTW, this is a busy month in the school year, so expect slow updates.
