Okay so site gets thrown back into December, I lose shit. Apparently SOSHIT is getting way ahead of us in material, so we need to stay ahead of the competition. Anything you see on on other sites that isnt on the Cult feel free to post here.

(On a sidenote, some art for the sections that have the "Comming Soon" images would be appreciated)

The Sonic Arcade coin roller was produced in either 1993 or 1994. Even though the entire thing is Sonic 1 themed, the theme from Sonic 3 plays from the speakers. On the table, all the Badnik from Sonic 1 are on columns with Ring/Ticket values on them. The second to last Badnik is a Game Over/0 Ticket column. The last selection is Robotnik in the swinging ball and chain from Green Hill Zone. There are four balls with low Ring/Ticket values and then Robotnik himself for 50 Rings/Tickets. A light goes down the columns from the one closest to you, toward the end picking one ball at random before Robotnik.

Saz, I've sent you a Sonic 2 preview scan from Game Informer a few days ago. Has some prototype shots.

Slightly old news, but this topic at the GHZ forum contains a tonnage of prototype stuff relating to Sonic CD (1992 proto / concept screens, including a never-before-seen Bonus round / Special Stage design) Sonic Drift (Flicky as a playable character), Sonic Adventure and Sonic the Fighters. Also, translations of a couple of interesting pieces of text regarding Sonic the Fighters and Sonic 2 are present. =P I'm too lazy to mirror all the stuff, but it's only two pages and there's quite a lot of stuff in it. Thanks to Act Select's Hari Hari for pretty much everything there.

So, yeah, check it out. Lotsa stuff there. =P

A couple of backups ago people were going crazy over game credits for some reason. I posted them in the old, old topic and I still had them around, so I thought if there was a need...why not.

Well, I did discover some unused sprites from Sonic Triple Trouble months ago, but didn't have any time to submit them 'cause my computer got a virus that same night and I had to reformat my HDD and I lost everything, and I was more concerned about that then the lost stuff I found. However, I later discovered that someone already discovered them and submitted them to SOSHIT:

http://SOSHIT.emulationzone.org/sonic_tt/sprites/index.htm

Oh wells, at least they haven't discovered that unused badnik in Atomic Destroyer Zone yet =P

EDIT: BTW, someone should add a subsection in Sonic Chaos for those unused tracks in the sound test. I'm sure most of you know about that =P

Well, the GG version's sound test has Gigalopolis's SMS version BGM, thus it's "unused" =P

BTW, has any of you guys seen this guy in the game before? I've looked everywhere throughout the level, but never found it:

Saz and I have added the stuff that was posted here already.

I need to wait for Saz to upload the sprite, and I also have to fix up the Sonic X-treme red shoe diary thing. (It's missing a major piece in part 2)
