If my cable company had the Boomerang channel, I'd watch that all day. Until I get that though, my TV will probably stay tuned to the "educational" channels, like Discovery/National Geographic/Animal Planet and whatever other ones their are.

I believe the correct pronounciation is "ani-may" since sometimes it's spelled "Animé", which is pronounced like that in French.

Anime isn't even a proper term, it's a contraction of a translation. I guess 'japanimation' is a catch-all term...?

With the é, that'd make sense. In French, that'd make sense. I hereby switch around my complaint to those that pronounce it "ani-may" without spelling it with the accent, or those that annoyingly expect people to pronounce it that way when they're aware said people have never encountered said accent.

Well, languages apparently don't HAVE to make sense. I don't understand why some words have silent letters. If the letter 'h' in 'herb' isn't pronounced, why is it even there?

Anime is overrated, but American animation in a sence is dead, because its all made overseas.

But lots of old classics are still fun to watch, i.e. Looney Tunes, and Tex Avery cartoon shorts

Anime =/= American shit.

They cancel each other out. Both are good, but both aren't loved by all. I hate anime and american animation equally, but damn. Can't people just accept what's placed in front of them? Arrogant assholes always say shit like "OH YEAH LEIK ANIME IS TOTALLY BETTER THAN THAT AMAERICANIZED BULLSHIT!" or the classic "AMERICAN RULES EVERYTHING, EVEN ANIMATION ASSFUCKS!" Well ya know what? Both are crap, both are basically the same (cept anime has a much slower framerate), and both are just there for our entertainment, weither it be good or bad.

And about sitcoms. I miss alot. But they're on all the damn time, but you just gotta look for them. Some new ones I find good are "My Name is Earl" or "The Office." Hell, those are good. They give me a giggle here and there. Worth watching, and they aren't total crap.

I like my TV. I like the entertainment it gives me. I don't care what I watch, aslong as I find it mildly amusing dammit.

And they became retarded after the first 3 seasons or so, when the producers realised they could still make money by going all EA on it.
