Sonic Heroes was this game that was released before Sega could give it a proper quality evaluation.

Yeah, the game is probably the worst piece of software to be released, even surpasing Windows in crapy programing.

Sonic Heroes is Sonic Adventure 2 lite. Or maybe Diet Sonic Adventure 2, whatever. However since I enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2 by a fair margin, I can therefore enjoy a semi-similar (gameplay-wise) game. Something like that.

I wouldn't say I ENJOY diet SA2, but if that's all that's at the party I'll drink it.

I enjoyed SH to a certain degree. It had some good levels, and some good gamplay aspects. Hell, I liked it enough to buy the thing even after it got spoiled the fuck out of it.

Even though I don't play it alot, it is a good Sonic game, dispite its faults. :\

Team Sonic's last level:

"Alright... going down a rail, about to come up to the lasers-- why the hell did I just fall through the rail?"

30 minutes later..

"WHAT THE HELL? I SPEED UP, I FALL THROUGH THE RAIL. I SLOW DOWN, I FALL THROUGH THE RAIL. I JUMP UP AND I MISS THE RAIL. JERALJDIOPUJE *gouge eyes*"

I suffered through a similar experience as well. Several of them, actually.

Oh yeah, did anyone else find it difficult to get anything higher than a D on the levels? I almost always got a bad grade cause I would die at least once in every level and that would reset my score.

It was pretty easy to get a C and higher most of the time. The only level that really would fuck up your grade was Hang Castle. Everything else was pretty damn simple.

Have you read any of the arguement? It's quite apparent that some people are finding glitches, while others ARE NOT. Just because you did, doesn't mean anyone else will..

Glitches are just an excuse for players not knowing whats going on. Rare cases like eric's probs DO happen, but for the most part "glitches" are just the retarded players running headlong into walls or missing jumps or doing stupid shit they're not supposed to. The only real bad place I'd have to say is the long run to the whale on EC in sadx, but that's still only if you retards didn't hit the thing right.

I had a blast with that one... as long as I was playing with other humans, hahaha. Playing something like that by yourself is just no fun at all.

And Sonic Heroes... while the team thing was clunky, I think it had great looking levels and a really nice soundtrack. Could've been better, but hey, it wasn't all that bad.

Heroes was fun. But not getting anything after completing everything? Communist bastards. And i wasn't fond of the control compared to the Adventure series. Who else noticed that it was more annoying to control Sonic's direction than it was in SA/SA2?

Truth. And now for old quote #2

http://forums.sonic-cult.net/index.php?s=&...ndpost&p=179024

QUOTE(Dude @ May 29 2004, 03:42 PM) *

Actually, its because the player isn't completely familiar with the physics/mechanics of the move, and thus fail to execute it properly. I haven't missed a light dash in over a year and a half. I've NEVER missed a light attack, and I know when a homing attack will connect or not, before I even press the button.

I assume you were talking about Heroes in addition to the Adventure series, bit if not then meh. I also know when a homing attack will fail, and I only fail if I decide to react when I fucking shouldn't (i.e. "Not now....NOW! Damn, too early"). It's exactly why I've been challenged by every first attempt on a final boss in the 3D games, but kicked ass soon afterwards - With the slight exception of Sonic Adventure, they all had new mechanics.. Therefore I can either conclude either
a) I rule
b) You guys suck
or c) SSUK is right

Hell if you guys can't get the feel for the mechanics of a game (outside of "WHEN U JUMP U GO DOWN LOL"), you guys must suck at Lemmings. "How the hell am I supposed to remember that the catapult catapults the lemmings?" "Lemmings bounce on trampolines?" "Well you can't expect me to know that when you make a Lemming a runner it runs faster."
