Yeah, I installed it on my laptop and everything worked perfectly. But I just installed Sonic CD and the patch on my Win2000 desktop, the BGMs don't load at all, and the game lags horribly, it just stops every 10-15 seconds for about 2 seconds. I checked my Sonic.ini and everything seems to be in place. You know whats wrong?

Don't flame me, but I have a small request. I missed the PCM.CMP file, and I was wondering if someone could upload it or email it to me (rar it into 2 parts because it's over 1 MB). It'd be nice to be able to get the full OEM version of Sonic CD, but I'm not going to be an ass and ask for that.

QUOTE(Sonic Power @ Feb 19 2004, 12:19 AM)
Anybody have the ISO?  :D

Now, I want to have the ISO (not for Genesis, already have that) but just for something to keep in my growing Sonic PC collection.

I can do that, I have the original CD.

Forgive me if it's mentioned somewhere in this post... but I just got the game, and when I run the patch file, the "apply patch" and the "undo patch" buttons are both greyed out... been trying for about an hour to try to get it to work, but it's just not in the cards for me it seems...

Those buttons are greyed out for one reason: the "SONICCD Path" is incorrect. Please read the readme, section "2) How to use SonicCDfix.exe".

The path is correct though... I've made sure of that several dozen times. I figured that was probably the reason, but it just... wasn't =\

The path must be correct AND Soniccd.exe must exist there. Are you sure that it does? Have you done a full install of Sonic CD to your HD?

Path is in fact correct, and SonicCD.exe is in the directory. Yes I have done a full install to my hard drive. That's why I'm pretty much stumped on the subject, heh... Also, all the files that are supposed to be patched are all in their correct directories.

To anyone who cares: I updated the Sonic CD patch a while ago. With this latest version, playing the game on Win XP in full screen mode should work. It was successfully tested on a few different PCs already.

Download

Reala (or any other admin), please replace the obsolete version hosted here. Also, feel free to replace the grainy screenshot on that page with this clean one.
