Hey.
I bought a copy of NiGHTS (US) and I was wondering how to make a BIN/CUE file. Whoa, hang on - I've done this tons of times with my PlayStation games, (ISOBuster and Audiograbber.) but NiGHTS is a bit different. Many of you probably know this, but Tracks 1 and 2 of the NiGHTS CD contain game information. So, how do I create a BIN/CUE file when game information is on two tracks instead of one?

Any help is definitely appreciated!

Just buy a saturn.

It's much better than an emulation. You can find one cheep at eBay.

Yeah, normally I don't enjoy giving assish advice like that, but for playing NiGHTS, it is currently the most viable and benefitial solution.

It really is, NiGHTS emulation sucks, the frame rate is way too slow.

The best way to play NiGHTS is on a Saturn with an analog pad, but emulation isn't THAT bad. I've gotten it to run at 80% on my 1.2GHz Celeron, with minimal distortion in graphics and sound.

Anyway, rip the ISO, and use CDRwin to convert it to BIN/CUE. Then follow the directions in girigiri-GAV'S README-DAMMIT file. Also, editing GAMES.DAT and switching NiGHTS (US/C)'s priority mode value to 1 can help with graphical distortion and speed problems.

Really, NiGHTS emulation is great if you have a 3GHz+ cpu, 512+ RAM, and a PC joypad with analog. A new PC and some better coding in GiriGiri-Gav could make saturn emulation on par with the actual system.

This will ruin the whole experience that is NiGHTS! Silly boy, just shell out $20 and get yourself a Saturn. I found one still in the box, albeit used, at a game store for that bargain price.

Unfortunately, having too many consoles and trying desperately not to buy any more, I looked to emulation. I spent an awesome $10 for NiGHTS on eBay and hoped to emulate it. Anyway, thanks to CDRWIN, I did make the correct BIN/CUE set. I just can't justify purchasing a new console ("New" meaning "just bought, regardless of age.") when only two or three games are involved. That's just the way I am. (Cheap.)

I agree with Insomniac - Cassini's terrible.
