What could that be??

Let's dig deeper taking out the trash geo data.

Hmm, it's in the same pose as we see him in PSO.

IPB Image
Oh oh, it seems I mixed up his legs and lost it in the debris before. Who cares, we can do without them *shot*

IPB Image
Wow's, that's what I call low poly now!

That's what war does to you!!

I tried to make it look like it's flying, but ... it doesn't look anything near it.
Geranimo!!!

Nights model dump
untextured, because I had to do the texturing myself. I am too lazy to write the texture loader =D
So, I rather give you the unedited version as it came from the binary.

*edit*
It seems the hands and all were actually there all the time, but they weren't seen because they were overlapping with the legs :|

AHAHAHAHA absolutely awesome stuff. But not as funny as the time i accidentaly pressed something i shouldn't have and gave NiGHTS PRUNE LEGS.
IPB Image

This is just gah... words fail me. It's so neat to finaly see something of the NiGHTS model, even if its from SA. The texture they used in SA was pretty different from the original anyway. And they used a different one in PSO as well. I'm fond of the PSO one. Tiz pretty.

ARMLESS NiGHTS omg watchout amputee porn artists will be over here in a flash. Ahahaha.
*prints out happily*

Oyy, I wish that I had the time to use my own octree engine, but I didn't have the time to make a 3ds loader cause I use my own format which I made a plugin for MS3D. Thing is, ms3d don't support high polyed models. Oyy.

Anyway, so I took the one from gametutorials.com, and used the map.
Enjoy!

Buttons:
f - turn off the damn fog
The rest you don't need.

THINGS TO NOTE:
The model ripper doesn't know what part belongs to what, so it stashes everything together. That's why the levels are sooo... ummm, well, you'll see.

Dude. Just dude!! Being able to look down the entire Twinseeds Tower from a NiGHTS eye point of view (from the spire) was great! XD It was like wandering around a creepy randomised ghost city ahahaha. BEST -THING- EVER. And the tower model itself is a great art ref when im drawing so hurrah!

Sadly the viewer seems to hate my graphics tablet but if i find my proper mouse it'll all be easier and less freaky to navigate.

What's the deal with the cowboy guy stuck to the side? I can't remember that in the casino, there again i've not played it for ages.

*goes to mess about again*

Yeah, it doesn't calculate maps 100% like sonic.exe does. The object grouping and positioning mixes 3 levels into 1. That's why the tower is smushed into the casino.

BTW, you can use 3DS max to edit the level, save, and then use the program again to move about. That's if you feel that things get in your way due to the mushed maps.

Absolutely fan-fucking-tastic.
Sanik, this is amazing, man.
For anyone here who's 3D savvy (I can't check myself as I'm using a different computer to my own) - Could I open the 3DS file in Lightwave?
